MTP/MPO Plug-and-Play Modules

MTP/MPO Plug and Play Modules transition between MTP/MPO and LC connectors for high-density cross-connect backbone links.

They are used to interconnect the various HAD, IDA and MDA cross connect backbones to LC patch panels. The high density module system is matched with 1U 4 module chassis scaling up to 96 fibers, and 4U 12 module chassis scaling up to 288 fibers.
